This two day course will provide you with the skills, knowledge, resources, and confidence to deliver Alumina sessions in your setting for young people with self–harming behaviour with particular focus on those in mainstream Schools on the Autistic Spectrum and those young people in the Care System.

This course is ideal for those working in schools in a PHSE capacity, pastorally, inclusion managers, school counsellors and those in the youth service.

Alumina is a 2 day course.
You must attend both days to receive your certificate and resources to be able to deliver Alumina sessions to your young people.

Please note that this course is only available to people who work directly with children and young people in Medway and we can only accept a maximum of 2 people from each setting on each course, this is to ensure a fair opportunity for everyone.

Please be advised that bookings for courses should be cancelled via the health portal at least one week before the training date. If you are unable to do this via this portal due to bookings for the course being closed - please email childhealth@medway.gov.uk to cancel your place. If this does not happen or there is non-attendance on the day/s of the course then delegates will be charged £100 (individual circumstances will be considered)
