This course is intended to develop a knowledge and working practice of ACEs and Trauma informed Practice

The course is suitable for delegates who have no working knowledge of ACEs or those who want to gain further knowledge

 

Please be advised that bookings for courses should be cancelled via the health portal at least one week before the training date. If you are unable to do this via this portal due to bookings for the course being closed - please email childhealth@medway.gov.uk to cancel your place. If this does not happen or there is non-attendance on the day/s of the course then delegates will be charged £100 (individual circumstances will be considered)

  • What are ACEs and Trauma?
  • The impact of ACEs and Trauma,
  • Stress and brain development in relation to trauma,
  • Recovery and prevention of ACEs
