"Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder" Training Course Part 1.
A two-part course introducing FASD and its developmental impact on children. This is aimed at practitioners who may work with persons with or without a diagnosis of FASD.
The course will cover an understanding of the impact of drinking alcohol during pregnancy.
Behavioral and cognitive impact.
There will be an emphasis throughout the training to avoid a “blame and stigma” culture.
Part 2 of the course cannot be joined unless part 1 has been attended.
