Sexual Health Masterclass

This session aims to provide you with an understanding of the key sexual health issues in Medway and services available for residents.

Target Audience

Anyone who has a wide range of contacts within the community; enabling them to contribute towards improving health and wellbeing in Medway.

What is covered?

• Understand common terms associated with sexual health/ill-health
• Understanding STIs and HIV
• Understanding contraception types and choices
• Inclusivity in sexual health
• Understanding people’s views on sexual health and healthy relationships
• Understanding what is covered in relationships and sexual health education in schools
• Identify groups most at risk of sexual ill-health and those facing inequalities
• Signposting to Medway services or initiatives that promote sexual health and wellbeing

There is no charge for this Training, except if there is failure to attend without giving notice, when a charge of £50 may be incurred. 

If for any reason you are unable to attend or no longer require the Training, please cancel your place on the course through our Training Portal or email phworkforcetraining@medway.gov.uk as it allows another person to attend.
