Connect 5 is a mental health promotion training programme giving skills and confidence in having effective conversations about mental health

More information

Connect 5 is a mental health promotion training programme based on the latest evidence base. Evaluation has shown it increases the confidence and core skills of frontline staff so they are more effective in having conversations about mental health and wellbeing. It has been designed to help people manage stress and distress and increase their resilience and mental wellbeing through positive change. The Connect 5 programme is an incremental three day programme.

Level 3 is Extended Wellbeing Advice designed to help participants learn different ways to motivate and support people to make changes that last. Connect 5 Level 3 is open to those who have completed the connect 5 levels 1 and 2 within the last 6 months. Not all delegates need to complete all 3 levels, as this does depend on job role and training needs. However, you must have attended level 1 and 2 before attending level 3.

This training session is free to attend for people who live or work in Medway only. Please do not book on to this training if you are based outside of this area.

Please be advised that you can attend each Connect 5 session once only. Once you have completed each session, it does not need to be repeated.

There is no charge for this Training, except if there is failure to attend without giving notice, when a charge of £50 may be incurred.

If for any reason you are unable to attend or no longer require the Training, please cancel your place on the course through our Training Portal or email as it allows another person to attend.
