As part of the Medway Workplace Wellbeing Programme, our series of Best Me webinars cover a range of topics to raise awareness and give you some practical tips and tools to improve your own wellbeing, or support the wellbeing of your colleagues. In this Menopause Awareness Webinar, we will look at the signs and symptoms of this phase of life.  Positive lifestyle changes such as becoming more physically active, reducing stress and improving nutrition has been shown to have a positive affect and reduce the severity of symptoms associated with the menopause transition and improve Heart health, Bone health and Brain health.

Target Audience

Anyone who is working with an employer signed up to the Medway Workplace Wellbeing Award and Workplace Health Programme. If you are not sure if your employer is taking part in this programme, or do not work at an employer in Medway please contact workplacehealth@medway.gov.uk before booking your place.

  • Overview of the menopause
  • Overview of the most problematic reported symptoms: Hot flush, Insomnia, Brain fog, Weight gain, Mood
  • Practical advice and top tips on what can help ease menopause symptoms and support long-term health
  • The importance of physical activity and reducing sedentary behaviour in the menopause
  • Practical tips on how to have a conversation around Menopause with your Line manager/employer
  • Practical tips on how to have a conversation with your Health care professional

There is no charge for this webinar.
