Social Prescribing

Delivered by Medway Public Health, this interactive free training session aims to equip allied health professionals and those working in the community and voluntary sector to:-

Gain an understanding of what social prescribing is, how it works and who can benefit from being involed;

Understand the wider context of social prescribing within the NHS 'Personalised Care' movement and the 'what matters to you' values; 

Have a good working knowledge of the services currently available in Medway and who can access them;

Find out about Medway's 'Better Connected' project and how those in need of support can be referred in. 

There is no charge for this Training, except if there is failure to attend without giving notice, when a charge of £50 may be incurred. 

If for any reason you are unable to attend or no longer require the Training, please cancel your place on the course through our Training Portal as it allows another person to attend.
