SYNOPSIS
This online course is for parents / carers who would like to learn more about what bullying is and how to support their children and young people who may be experiencing bullying.
This session is open to all parents / carers but please note that the aim is to provide general information and guidance.
The content will not cover SEND or Neurodiversity in detail and we will not be able to explore individual situations or concerns within the session as it wouldn’t be safe to do so.
We do provide signposting to other services and support for parents / carers to help support children and young people who may be experiencing bullying following the training.
DESCRIPTION
By the end of this session, you will have an understanding of:
- What is bullying?
- Cyber bullying & signs
- Bullying dynamics
- Who is affected?
- Why do people bully?
- Signs of bullying
- Effects of bullying
- What can we do?
- Supporting children against bullies
- Who else can support
There is no charge for this Training, except if there is failure to attend without giving notice, when a charge of £50 may be incurred.
